A virtual and in person rally organized by the Justice 4 Women Task Force to #SAYHERNAME as #WeFightForHer. We were at three locations (Governor Cuomo’s office in NYC, Memorial Park in Rockland County, and outside the Nassau County Jail in Long Island) to support women brutalized by police and corrections. Women of color are fighting a war on multiple fronts; gender and race politics cannot be viewed as separate issues, we MUST examine the ways in which they intersect to produce distinct forms of oppression. #WhatAboutHer
